NESLI is presenting at the National Education Summit - Half Price tickets available

NESLI is excited to be hosting a two-day leadership development conference as part of the National Education Summit this August in Melbourne.
Over the two days, NESLI will present the conference, with our expert researchers and facilitators speaking to delegates about current global issues relating to leadership, culture, wellbeing and community in our education system.
Each day will feature two sessions. Dr Anna Dabrowski, NESLI’s Director of Education and Evaluation, will lead day one by presenting on the impact that relationships and social capital have on school and teacher wellbeing, and how skills can impact change. The second session will be led by Dr Janet Smith, NESLI’s Program Director, who will explore adaptive leadership for women in schools and education, and look at how we can encourage authentic leadership that goes beyond technical ‘one size fits all’ responses to common problems.
Day two will be facilitated by Kirk Fisher, Senior Facilitator and Executive Coach for NESLI. In the morning, Kirk will take delegates through a workshop exploring how we can grow a school culture that matters, through building trust, handling conflict in a positive way and celebrating personal differences. For the afternoon session, Kirk will ask participants to explore how they communicate, listen and provide feedback to students, fellow teachers, and parents alike, with a view to refining and improving their communication skills. Participants will have an opportunity to apply their learnings in the session.
Half day, full day and two day passes to the conference are available. All passes also include complimentary access to The Education Show, which feature more than 100 exhibitors, including NESLI. A special rate to all four sessions across the two days is available for just $350 (50% off the standard rate) by entering Promo Code NESLI50.
